Not gonna lie but I would found the Kyoka would be the dominant ones should Rintaro didn't enter the academy. However, seems to me that Rintaro still has a long way to go as what I see so far,  Kyoka seemly superior towards (she tear the air sheild effortlessly as a living proof) Rintaro.
